Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic is coming back. Aspyr Media is remaking BioWare and LucasArts’ classic Star Wars role-playing game for PlayStation 5 and Windows PC, the developer revealed Thursday at Sony’s PlayStation Showcase. Sony Interactive Entertainment will publish the remake on PS5.

Sony announced during the PlayStation Showcase that both A Thief’s End and The Lost Legacy will be ported to and remastered for PC and PlayStation 5. But PlayStation Blog clarified that only the PlayStation 5 version of the Legacy of Thieves Collection will be released in early 2022.

The PC port is still in development at Iron Galaxy Studios, which is well known for porting other big-budget games to different platforms, including Destiny, Overwatch, and Skyrim. While we don’t know the exact date on when the PC port will be arriving, the wait shouldn’t be too long: Sony anticipates that Legacy of Thieves Collection should release “shortly” after the console remaster.
