Izveštaji prodaje u igračkoj industriji (prodaja igara i konzola, finansijski izveštaji, berza, akvizicije, etc.)

GTAV je pre vise od 10 godina kostao $200M+ samo za razvoj, bez marketinga.

GTAVI ce imati sigurno nenormalan budzet, ali sve ce im se isplatiti. Zaradice preko milijardu na launch day-u, i onda beskrajna dobra prodaja u sledecih 10 godina [pogotovo ako MP bude dobar].

^ Finalni Helldivers 2 rezultati sa vikenda su 155K concurrent sa Steama i malo iznad 200K na PS5. CEO studija je potvrdio 1M kupaca igre, ali nemaju kapacitete da podrze ovakvu navalu.



Za sada mogu da prime maksimum 360K concurrent igraca, i taj kapacitet su posle jucerasnjeg maintenance-a popunili za manje od 6 minuta. 😮

po svim ovim grafovima evidentno je koliko poverenja ima N kod svojih korisnika, sve njihove igre se kupe u najvecem broju na samom launchu a onda sve posle launcha je boranija naspram toga. svaka im cast
 
PlayStation Q3 2024 rezultati:

- Rekordan Q3 sa $10 milijardi prometa [drugi najbolji kvartal svih vremena za playstation]
- 8.2M prodatih PS5 konzola u kvartalu [15% bolje nego proslog praznicnog kvartala]
- PS5 lifetime prodaja: 54.8M [ps4 i dalje blago vodi u istom periodu]

- Nece izdati nijednu veliku 1st party AAA igru do 31. marta 2025. godine, do tada samo dosta 2nd party/3rd party ekskluziva [Rebirth, Stellar Blade, Ronin, Concord verovatno, SH2 remake, D2 Final Shape...].
- Spiderman 2 se do 4. februara prodao u 10 miliona kopija.




Nema sanse da ostvare 25M prodaje ps5 konzole do kraja ove finansijske godine [31. mart], bice low 20s.
 
Smanjili su forecast na 21m konzola.
Revenue rekordan, ali profit na jako niskim granama.
Yup, sad ce da ubrzaju portovanje na PC, Live Service igre [pored Helldivers 2 hita ove godine stizu jos Final Shape i Concord valjda], i naravno seca developera.

Pred kraj godine ocekujem PS5 Pro u istoj ceni kao PS5 sada, i pad cene za PS5.

"Actually, I am the chairperson [of SIE]. It's been about four months, and I am trying to demonstrate leadership and trying to have as many meetings as possible with the management team. I also visit studios and everyone is working really hard to fulfill their responsibility to try to optimize the business, and I understand that. But overall growth and sustainable profitability or increasing margin, how will that translate to these goals? I don't think people understand that deeply. I think that is the problem of the organization. So as far as I'm concerned, I try to understand what is happening in the company, in the industry, and also in the perspective of the analysts, and try to explain in a transparent manner so that people can recognize and notice these issues so that we can have a harmonized approach going forward. That is a very general comment since I became the chairperson. There are concrete points which I will not go into today.

"Now, about visiting the studios, and I've had meetings with the leaders there, the studios. People who work in the studios have very high motivation. They're very highly motivated. They're very good people. And they're very creative people. They have great creative minds. And they also have knowledge about live streaming. However, having said that, when it comes to the business itself, I think there is room for improvement. And that's got to do about how to use the money or about the schedule of development or how to fulfill one's accountability towards development, et cetera. Those are my frank impressions. So I will continue to engage in dialogue with the people so that we can find the right way to proceed."

16% jači revenue a istovremeno 26% slabiji profit u odnosu na isti period prošle godine,
definitivno pokazuje da imaju problem sa profitabilnošću.
 
Sony sef takodje rekao da ce uskoro PS5 uci u "drugu polovinu zivota" kada ce prodaja da opadne. Krajem ove godine kada Pro izadje, PS5 ce napuniti 4 godine, dobra tacka za polovinu generacije.

Videcemo kakva ce biti druga polovina, ali tradicija kaze da ce biti OK. Sto se 1st party softvera tice, druga polovina PS3-a je bila bolja od prve, isto vazi i za PS4.

Cetvorka i petica zajedno nemaju takve igre kakve je ps3 imao u prvoj a i u drugoj polovinni zivotnog ciklusa konzole.
 
PS3 je imao renesansu malih igara iz sonijevih studija. Na PCu, indi scena je svakim danom sve jača i jača a sony je totalno odstranio prave kreativne majstore iz svojeg platnog spiska.
Neki poput MediaMolecule su potpuno izgubili kontakt sa realnošću i posle napravili "igru" koju niko nije hteo. 9 godina su bacili na Dreams koji je stvarno impresivan ali totalno promašen projekat. Drugi si naterani, od strane Sony-a da dignu svoju pohlepu do neviđenih visina i time žestoko osakatili izuzetno uspešnu franšizu poput Bungy i Destiny 2.
