Imaju engine i developere koji znaju da prave jednu vrstu igre, skoro sigurno ce nastaviti sa veoma slicnim projektima.

Najrealnije je da ce nastaviti Divinity serijal.

You could convince him. So if you play the game and there's a moment where you can convince him and you can see that a moment where he breaks, that moment led to recruitment normally. We cut that out when we were rescoped. It was part of the fixing of Act Two when we were stuck on it. That was what happened in the rescoping. He was supposed to be in your camp while you were dealing with Gortash and with Orin. So he became a source of information on them, and he could trust, you could get him to his arc. He could then be convinced by him to go to this side. So it was a great story.

You were supposed to have an entire visit to Hell. Vlaakith’s Palace, and I keep on forgetting, Tu'narath, the Gith plane. We were going to go to the city, Candlekeep, where the original Baldur's Gate 1 started. So there was all things that we considered that we, at some point, there was a moment where the maps were going to be smaller, and so we were going to be able to give you bigger diversity of location that you would explore. But then the problem with those massive is that the sense of exploration wasn’t really present. So that’s why we killed a whole bunch of them.

a i ne slažem se sa njima o scope-u mapa. bolje da je bilo više manjih lokacija. to mi je možda i najveća zamerka na igru...
 
Wow, ovo za 34 i odluke da izvršiš samoubistvo. Neverovatno da je samo toliko ljudi na celom svetu to uradilo. Prosto neverovatno.

Baldur’s Gate Fans Will Know More About the Franchise’s Future in ‘Short Order’, Says Hasbro

A lot of people are very interested in Baldur's Gate. We're kind of working out our plans for the future and what we're going to be doing with that. And actually, in pretty short order, we're going to have some stuff to talk about around that.
It's somewhat of an unenviable position. I mean, we're not in a hurry. Right? That's the thing, we're going to take a very measured approach... We've got a lot of plans, a lot of different ways to go about it. We're starting to think about, okay, yeah, we're ready to start dipping toes a little bit and talking about a few things. And I think, in really short order, like I said, again, not to over-tease that point, we're going to have some other things to talk about around that.
I'm never one to shy down from a challenge. I think anything that forces us to raise our creative bar - and developers love to have a high bar to go after, and I think we've actually seen the team push some really interesting ideas that they're like, 'Okay, we need to raise our bar. We need to go bigger on this.' And things like that. So, I think that's our hope, right? We would keep raising the bar and everyone just tries to go a little higher.

svakako je larian prvi izjavio da ne žele da rade više baldur's gate igara i da je ovo bio one-off projekat za njih...
