Project: Mara is an upcoming story-driven video game developed by Ninja Theory and published by Xbox Game Studios. The game is an experimental real-world game grounded in the representation of mental terror. It was developed as the "Insight Project" based on real-life experience accounts and in-depth research with the goal of representing the horrors of the mind as realistically as possible by combining the best of game design and technology with cutting edge clinical neuroscience and psychiatry. The developers hope it will showcase a new storytelling medium.
